1 John 4:8
King James Version
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God;
for God is love.
What a simple verse, testifying of who GOD is.
And what love is.
You need to be born again.
That the HOLY SPIRIT may instruct you about GOD.
That you may know His will, His ways, His truth.
That you may know the LORD JESUS' teachings.
You're missing out on the BIGGEST chunk of your life if you continue to leave GOD out of the equation.
Look how much He loves us:
John 3:16-17
King James Version
16 For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world through him
might be saved.
And look how JESUS reflected that teaching on love:
Matthew 22:35-40

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer,
asked him a question, tempting him,
and saying,
36 Master,
which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him,
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments
hang all the law and the prophets.
John 13:34-35

34 A new commandment I give unto you,
That ye love one another; as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,
if ye have love one to another.
Unless we become born again, we would have no idea the depth of GOD's love.
His SPIRIT teaches us all we need to know.
GOD loves us, through His Son, JESUS, who died on the cross for us:
Romans 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written,
For thy sake we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded,
that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We really have no idea GOD's love, unless we are born again.
And taught by SPIRIT.
