The HEART of GOD

 John 3:16-17

16 For God so loved the world, 

that he gave his only begotten Son, 

that whosoever believeth in him 

should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world 

to condemn the world; but that the world 

through him might be saved.

Have you an idea GOD's heart?

Our ONLY SOURCE of GOD's TRUTH:

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, 

and is profitable for doctrine, 

for reproof, 

for correction, 

for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, 

thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

To know GOD, know His enemy.

A wanna-be, aspiring usurper of GOD's power:

Isaiah 14:12-14

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, 

O Lucifer, son of the morning! 

how art thou cut down to the ground, 

which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, 

I will ascend into heaven, 

I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:

I will be like the most High.

Is it any wonder, therefore, that GOD sent His Only Begotten SON differently?

And chose the young, brave, shepherd boy, David?

This, as the LORD chose a king for Israel:

The Lord hath not chosen these.

So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

How about when GOD chose Israel to be His holy nation?

Deuteronomy 7:6-7

the Lord thy God hath chosen thee 

to be a special people unto himself, 

above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 The Lord did not set his love upon you, 

nor choose you, because ye were more

Unbelievers and proud men cannot possibly "map" out the LORD.

They are the antithesis to the Triune GOD.

Know the NATURE of GOD:

Isaiah 55:8-9

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, 

neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, 

so are my ways higher than your ways, 

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Know the MIND of CHRIST:

which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, 

thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

and took upon him the form of a servant, 

and was made in the likeness of men:

and became obedient unto death, 

even the death of the cross.

Know the HEART of GOD:

Psalm 147:3

and bindeth up their wounds.

and a King shall reign and prosper,

Those are the clues the HOLY SPIRIT led me to, in my early days as born again, culminating in this article you're reading now.

GOD knew I had been searching so long for ABSOLUTE truth.

I was looking for the REAL authority in everything.

Someone I could believe in, totally.

Something I could share with you, with TOTAL conviction.

I just didn't know then it was JESUS I had been searching for.

In Him is EVERYTHING.

He is EVERYTHING.

Colossians 2:9

9 For in him dwelleth 

all the fulness of the Godhead 

bodily.

Now, I am happy, and content.

And so can you.

Once you acknowledge the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

As Master, and Savior.

And LORD of ALL.

Have you found a "master"?

Someone you can truly believe in?

Someone whose word was "gold"?

Or perhaps, you feel you are one, such master?

Someone others need to believe in.

Someone who's got great authority.

And has deep conviction.

Well, I searched long and hard, for such an authority.

Someone I could truly believe in.

With all my heart and soul.

It almost took me forever.

Somehow, I could never follow blindly.

Thus, I took to the independent path.

I finally found the ULTIMATE leader.

And surely, He was given to me.

One who speaks with authority.

One who is authentic.

GOD saved the BEST for LAST.

He made me born again, so late in my life.

And then His SPIRIT led me to His Son, JESUS.

That's when the search stopped.

On 17 November 2020, my search was officially over.

I had found my "MASTER".

Declared through His own words:

Matthew 23:8-10

8 But be not ye called Rabbi:

for one is your Master, even Christ; 

and all ye are brethren.

9 And call no man your father upon the earth: 

for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

10 Neither be ye called masters: 

for one is your Master, even Christ.

This is an article I started nearly a year ago.

And it's only now I get back into it, to finalize it.

SPIRIT made me watch a Mark Hitchcock sermon.

This statement reminded me of my "search":

"The first duty of every soul, 

is to find not its freedom, 

but its master."

The Final Score | Marking the End Times

So that's what I had been searching for all along, all that time:

A "MASTER"

One I can truly believe in.

One who had REAL authority.

One I can trust my life with.

One whose WORD was GOLD.

All the while, I thought I was searching for ULTIMATE "truth".

But who could give ultimate truth, but the "MASTER"?

The world presents many "masters".

JESUS warned us about them:

Matthew 24:24

24 For there shall arise false Christs, 

and false prophets, 

and shall shew great signs and wonders; 

insomuch that, if it were possible, 

they shall deceive the very elect.

Matthew 7:15

King James Version

15 Beware of false prophets, 

which come to you in sheep's clothing, 

but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Apostle John warned us about them:

1 John 2:18

18 Little children, it is the last time: 

and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, 

even now are there many antichrists; 

whereby we know that it is the last time.

Apostle Paul warned us, too:

Colossians 2:8

8 Beware lest any man spoil you 

through philosophy and vain deceit, 

after the tradition of men, 

after the rudiments of the world, 

and not after Christ.

I've ALWAYS known there was a "MASTER".

That's why I kept searching -- no matter how long it took.

And I'm glad I didn't listen to the world.

Most of all, I'm glad GOD made me born again in 2019.

Without which, I'd not have known about the TRUE magnificence of JESUS.

Thanks to SPIRIT, I now do.

Catholicism gave me a taste.

Being born again sealed the deal.

have seen a great light: 

they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, 

upon them hath the light shined.

How do you celebrate the birth of JESUS?

With family, with pomp, or simplicity?

Do you really know what His birth means?

I can't thank GOD enough for making me born again.

Only through that have I received His SPIRIT.

Who teaches me about JESUS, and Scripture.

As the years advance, I advance in simplicity, too.

Only because JESUS lived a simple life.

Why should I live any other life, if I'm His follower?

I focus on His commands, which the four gospels teach.

He never called attention to His power.

But the Old Testament did.

Through this prophecy:

Isaiah 9:5-6

5 For every battle of the warrior 

is with confused noise, 

and garments rolled in blood; 

but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.

6 For unto us a child is born, 

unto us a son is given: 

and the government shall be upon his shoulder: 

and his name shall be called Wonderful, 

Counsellor, The mighty God, 

The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Even the LORD's childhood, adulthood, death, and ministry, were prophesied.

JESUS declares how GOD loves, and what He was born for:

John 3:16-17

He died on the CROSS, that we may live.

Upon that CROSS, He defeated death, and the devil.

That's why He calls us to be born again, so we may understand.

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, 

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; 

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Ye must be born again.

JESUS taught us how to live, love, and glorify GOD.

He called our attention to the URGENCY of the times.

He told us what to do:

Mark 1:15

15 And saying, 

The time is fulfilled, 

and the kingdom of God is at hand: 

repent ye, 

and believe the gospel.

And when His time has come to sit at the right hand of GOD, He left us the HOLY SPIRIT.

That we may not feel orphaned.

The born again receives instruction from SPIRIT every single moment.

All in honor of the LORD JESUS.

What is the "faithfulness" of JESUS?

What does "faithfulness" mean?

Who was JESUS faithful to?

Why was He faithful?

What can we learn from the LORD?
